2 Years and Counting!

I just have to point out that I started my blog 2 years ago today! So Happy Anniversary to Me!

Puzzles are Fun!!

My sister just got back from Disneyland and when she was there she bought this cool puzzle, and let us borrow it. I haven't put together a puzzle for a very long time, and now I want to make more!! The kids even tried to help, which really wasn't helping. I do have to say that Pat put most of it together. He's just alot faster then I am ;)

Boondocks

Tuesday night we went up to Boondocks for Pat's work party. We ate pizza, rode on the bumper boats, played mini golf, and played arcade games. We had a great time!!

Pat & Mara on the bumper boats. You could even spray water at other people. Mara was shivering by the time we were done, because there were a bunch of stupid kids that wouldn't stop spraying them. But it was fun anyway.

Mara would put her ball right by the hole then hit it in. She would also pick up our balls and put them in the hole for us. It made Xander really mad!! I, on the other hand was amused.

He also hit a hole in one, it was awesome!!!

There were alot of people there besides co-workers. So there was alot of waiting while we golfed. Mara was getting tired of it by the end.

SKEEBALL!!

They have a HUGE play place and my kids spent at least 45 minutes playing in it. Xander went down the slides 30 times. (He kept track, not me.)

Mara and Livvy (the daughter of our friends Kenny & Susan, Kenny works with Pat) having a grand time. They would walk up the 2nd slide then go down it. This was probably Mara's favorite thing the whole night.

One of Pat's co-workers gave us all their tickets and we were able to get some fun stuff for the kids. Snakes & Spiders!!!

Boondocks is such a fun place, I would love to go again :) Thanks RC Willey!

My Graduate

Pat graduated from Utah Valley University this morning at the bright hour of 8 am! He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education majoring in History. I am so proud of him and that he finally got to this point! It was so great to have his family there to support him. We thank all of you for everything that you have done for us.

Sleeping Queens

This game has been ruling our lives the past few weeks!

It all started out with my mother buying Wig Out and the kids just loving it! She had played Sleeping Queens at another wards enrichment night and decided that she was going to buy it! We have been playing it everyday since. The idea is to awaken the Queens that are upside down by playing a King! But the other players can steal your queen by playing a Knight, or put your Queen to sleep by playing a Magic Potion. But you can save your queen by playing a Dragon when the Knight is played, or a Magic Wand when the Potion is played! Whomever collects 5 Queens or enough Queens to equal 50 points is the winner!

I love that Xander knows how to play it, that he wins almost every time we play, and we usually play 5-6 rounds every day. I love the time that I get to play it with him. Mara loves to pick the queens for me, and she is obsessed with the Dragon cards, and will usually tell everyone when I have one too! :)

So if you need a new card game, I totally recommend this one! You will love it!

The kids have been sick lately with fevers and coughs, so this is what it's looked like at our house. They have been watching movies non-stop, and sometimes they would fall asleep during them too! They are both better now which is great because we have family coming to town and we're going to be playing alot :)

Wintertime Fun??

I can't believe that we had this much snow in the middle of April! At least the kids got to have one last play in their snow clothes last week!! This was the first time either of them made snow angels too!

Mara's New Pictures

Oh how I love the Target Portrait Studio!! Mara got her pictures taken on Monday afternoon and I got the email with pictures this morning! They always do a great job and the pictures look wonderful! I just can't believe how big Mara is now! Especially how much her hair has grown in the last year. (I will find her pictures from last year and post a comparison)

She is such a cutie!!!!!

Let's Go Fly A Kite!

Karri gave the kids kites for Easter, so last night we went to the field at the elementary school to see if we could get them to fly.
