February 2014 part 2

I love when I can catch these sweet moments of a daddy and his baby.

These girls really wanted to play with their barbies in the kitchen sink.
I remember doing this myself as a child, and it made me so happy.

Once a month we have dessert with the Tolman side,
and this day Olivia really wanted to give Melody a hug.
It was so sweet!

I try to get as many pictures of my kids with their grandparents because one of my grandpa's passed when I was a baby, so I want to make sure my kids will always know that they were loved by their grandparents.

This cutie pie has discovered her fingers and loves to suck on them all day long.

Jaina is always so attentive to Melody and wants to help with anything that she can.

We are in a My Little Pony phase.
These are all from Build A Bear and belong to me and each of my girls.
Mara's is Pinkie Pie, Jaina's is Rainbow Dash,
Melody's is Fluttershy, and mine is Princess Twilight Sparkle.
Jaina loves to play with ALL of them together. Can you blame her?

I got the most perfect birthday selfie with my little ones. I turned 33!!

And for my birthday I was blessed to be able to go to
lunch with my amazing sister in law, Lana.

Mara had her first salon hair cut too.
She was so super excited!!

What a beauty!

February 2014 part 1

I am so thankful for this little one in our family.
Even though having a baby is stressful, she brings so much peace into our lives.

We have a daily routine of a bath before bed, and she sleeps pretty good too.
I just love post-bath babies.

For Pat's birthday we went out with all these people that we love and ate at Yamoto.
It was so great to be surrounded by all these people.

After dinner we went to the Provo Temple for a sealing session with Morri and Liza.

Then finished the night with dessert at JCW's.

I love the snuggles that this one gives.
I almost wish she would stay little forever so we can always feel like this.

For the joint birthday celebration with my family, Karri made this cake for us.
Half Star Wars and half Doctor Who!!

We start our kids early in the geek department.

We had a great tax return this year and decided to splurge a little on ourselves with things that we have been wanting for years.  Mine was a Canon Rebel T3i DSLR.  I did pay for half of it with my saved Christmas and birthday money though.

One of the first pics with my new camera.
Got a cute smile from Melody.

Daddy made sure to get a picture of me with the new camera too.

Pat's splurge was the Star Wars Lego Death Star!!!
The box is HUGE!!!!

And the instructions seem even bigger.

Here's my little Valentine

Daddy, will you be my Valentine??

Here is a progress picture

And the finished product!!!
It took him over 14 hours to put together!

January 2014 pt 3

I just love these little jammies too.

While I nurse, Jaina decided to lay out some clothing for Melody.

Mara & I have been having fun with the Rainbow Loom the kids got for Christmas.
It's so fun to see how it all comes together.

Matchy matchy matchy.

Her hands are just so small.

Mara took this picture and I like it.

First real picture of all 4 of my kids!

Mara is ALWAYS drawing. And she has always loved to make family pictures.
She wasn't quite done with this when I took the pic, but I love it.

Karri watched the kids one night so we could go to the temple and caught this beauty reading to her sisters.

I usually hate having kids in our bed, but when it's a baby, the rules seem to go out the window.
But this was a perfect sight to see.

Seems like I am always nursing and Jaina always wants me while I am doing it.
So usually when I'm done she climbs up on my lap to snuggle me and Melody.

The first time these little piggies have been painted!!

Once a year the kids have Parents & Pastries.
It's where a parent can come to the school early, have a doughnut and the kids read books to them.
Jaina was so happy to be there with them.

Just a cute face!

January always seems to be so dry and the house is full of static.
Jaina's hair proves it!

One day we were all so tired.
Once Melody fell asleep, Jaina snuggled up with me and we all slept.
It wasn't the best spot to sleep but it worked.
Xander caught this pic when he got home from school.

While making breakfast one Saturday, the kids were all huddled around Melody.
She was just cooing and being sweet and they were all enamored with her.

A cute selfie with my baby!

Here's another pic of how small she is, and yet, she is getting bigger every day.

For the first few weeks after she was born, Jaina didn't really care to hold or talk to Melody,
but something changed, and now she wants to hold her all the time.

Another day when Karri was watching the kids,
Jaina decided to read some books to Dash, Karri's cat.
