March 2015

Melody puts just about anything on her head that she can.

The weather was starting to turn warm, so we ventured out to the playground
at the school. This was the first time that Melody went down a slide.

Just another cute sleeping picture.

One of the things that she has started saying a lot is 'sit sit' when she sits down somewhere.

On March 10th it was the 12th Anniversary of my dad's death. So we got together as a family and had dinner at Wendy's for nuggets and frostys. Afterwards we went to mom's house and wrote messages to him and attached them to balloons. We then went in the front yard and let them go.  It was a really nice way to remember him. The kids really liked writing the notes and they were the sweetest.  We all let go at the same time, but Jaina's slipped a little early.  I love that we are always together on this day to remember such a great man and the reason why we are all here on this earth.

Melody has really taken a liking to her binkys and has to hold them all!

I was able to do a girls outing with Mara, Mana, Karri, Conli, Sawyer,
JD & Chris to go see the live action Cinderella at the new Megaplex Theater in Orem.

Melody's hair is starting to grow!

The kids were playing with Play-doh and Mara made a Kirby!

Sometimes I think Melody is turning into Linus because she drags her blanket around the house.

These older siblings just love to make little houses and beds for Melody to play in. She enjoys it too.

It's finally warm enough to play in the back yard!

Melody was wearing one of my favorite dresses.
I bought it well before Mara was born and all 3 girls have worn it.

We were having a lazy Wednesday and hanging in our jammies as long as possible.

Ben & Amber were in town so we headed over to Grandma & Grandpa's house to hang out.
We took a walk to the nearby pond to feed the ducks.

Jaina loves the ducks a little too much, because she was constantly chasing after them.

We wandered over to a home that had a bunch of puppies. So we all took turns holding or petting them.

Jaina wanted to hold one, but is super nervous around dogs. So after a few
attempts to hold it, she decided that petting the dog was enough for her.

Easter was coming up, but it fell on Conference weekend, so the Sunday
before we got all dressed up in our new clothes and got my annual Easter pictures.

Melody has learned the art of Peek-a-Boo. She loves to hide behind the quilt
hanging on the rack in the front room. I just love that her feet hang out while she hides.

Peek-a-Boo

See, she just loves to have her head covered. She is getting really interested in shoes too.

February 2015

February started out with a fun event. Mara decided that she wanted her ears pierced!
So we went to the mall and did it! She did really good and is happy that she has earrings.

Pat took his birthday off from work, we took the little girls to his parents, and we went out to lunch.
He really wanted to go to Teppanyaki & Sushi. So we went and had an interesting time.
He over ordered on sushi and got too full, but had ordered and Eel sushi, took one bite of it and was done.

When we got home I made Nameless cake for his birthday.
We introduced Melody to the goodness of the frosting.

Jaina even helped me frost the cake.

Melody doesn't sit still much, even for shows. But this particullar day she
watched a good bit of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with Pat and the kids.

Every once in a while Jaina will be so tired that she throws a fit,
so this day I put her in her room and she ended up falling asleep!

We celebrated our birthdays at Mana's house.

JD gave me a Star Trek TNG Bluray!

Karri gave Pat this awesome Star Wars shirt.

Mara lost tooth #9 after tugging on it for a week.

Melody came and snuggled up with Xander to see what he was doing on his iPod.

Now that she's more mobile she's discovered the cabinets, and she loves to put things on her head.

For my birthday we went to Red Robin for dinner.

Along with Lana & kids

Another fun selfie from the baby.

She was entertained for about 10 minutes in the basket full of books.

She really loves to splash too. But when she starts I pull her out because I don't like getting soaked.

The kids had fun combining their Tsum Tsums, along with a few of mine.
Stacking them the way they were meant to be stacked.

Melody was out growing her infant seat, at 15 months. Our big car seat was expired and the seat belt was easily loosened, so we took it into Babies R Us, turned it in, and got a discount on a new seat!!

She snuck the iPod and 'hid' in the corner to play with it.

And she's discovered the peek a boo through her legs.

I love this stage!

She also loves sunglasses and playing with dishes.
