July 2015 - Fiesta Days

July 24th
We have never gone to the Fiesta Days parade before but went this year because JD was
in the parade with the cast from Tarzan!!  They were performing at Spanish Fork High
School, so it was fun that it was local for us.  We were so excited to see him!!

He ran over to the float, grabbed a huge handfull of candy and unloaded it on Jaina!
It pays off to have an Uncle in the parade.

Mom even came down and went to the parade with us. Afterwards we headed over to the library where there were booths and entertainment. JD and some of the cast were there performing a few songs from the show!

We then headed over to the carnival so the girls could go on a few rides.

The girls love going through fun houses.
This one had a rotating floor, so it made it difficult to walk through the tunnel.

There was a slide at the end. Mara had gone down first and for some reason Jaina didn't want to go down it.

So Mara was a nice sister, went back through it and helped Jaina be okay to go down the slide.

It was a lot of fun to be at the carnival with my girls and mom.

Later that day we went to Costco and saw this cute jacket of Rainbow Dash!
We didn't buy it, but it sure was cute!

July 2015 - Nickel Mania / Karri's Birthday

July 20th
The kids just love going to Nickel Mania and we try to go every other month. I usually just
walk around with Jaina and push Melody in the stroller to keep her happy, so it makes it
easy for me to take pictures. We even had Morri and family join us.

Jaina had such a fun time playing Air Hockey with Pat.

Giant Fruit Ninja!!
It's so much fun to play on this size of a screen, especially compared to my phone.

Liza, Mara & Addi playing Skee Ball

Xander took a go at Fruit Ninja also.

Alex & Noah were getting some driving practice in.

Pat was so great and played a bunch of games with Jaina, including Guitar Hero!!

She really liked this kids version of Dance, Dance.

These boys were so cute and played a 4-player Pac-Man with her. She even won a round!

July 21st
We have been able to take advantage of the $5 Tuesdays deal at the new Megaplex theater in Orem.
It's great because summer is always full of awesome movies!  This time it was AntMan!!!!

July 22nd
We were able to take an evening and go to Seven Peaks after dinner. It's so nice to go at night
when it's not so crowded and hot. This time the smaller blue slides were open and Jaina tried
them for the first time. She absolutely LOVED them and went down each slide at least ten times.

I don't know how she was able to do this, but a few times she even came out
backwards with her legs up in the air! But she didn't mind this one bit.

I love being able to have fun and make memories with these cuties.

I love this man and all that he does for our family.

July 23rd
It was Karri's birthday and we took a girls afternoon and got our toes done!!

I love the tradition with my mom and sisters.

Afterwards we were able to meet up with JD and get lunch at JCW's

Liza was great and watched the kids for me since it was a Thursday and Pat had school all day.
Mara and Jaina really wanted to play at Karri's house, so I dropped them off there and took
Xander and Melody home. I love when this little one falls asleep in the car, but it's even
better when she will continue her nap when we get home.

July 2015 - The Little Mermaid

July 18th
For Christmas we got tickets to go see The Little Mermaid at the West Valley Hale Centre Theatre.
So we had been looking forward to this for 7 months!

It was so fun to go on a mother/daughter date with my Mara.

Lisa got a selfie stick so we got to try it out by getting a group shot.
This is kinda fun and makes me want to get one.

The show was amazing! I had never heard the new songs or seen it on
stage before. Now I want the album to be able to learn the songs. They did
a fantastic job and these girls LOVED it and were so excited to meet Ariel!

They got to meet Sebastian too!

Afterwards we had a little dinner at Wendy's. It's always fun to introduce Mara to
the things that I love, and I look forward to doing this more often as she grows up.

Meanwhile, Pat had the other kids and they took a little walk/hike up a nearby trail.

You can kinda see the Dripping Rock behind Pat's head.

I love this selfie!

You can see the Dripping Rock better in this picture.

These kids are so lucky to have a dad willing to take them to new and fun places.

July 2015 - Seven Peaks with Ramey's

July 17th
Pat had a ton of homework to do, so I took the kids to Seven Peaks and
met up with Karri, Lisa, Max, Conli, Sawyer and Finley

Karri brought her waterproof camera so we had a lot of fun with it.
These 3 went down a slide with a triple tube and LOVED it!

Melody is still getting used to going swimming, so we mostly hung out on
the edge of the wave pool. She loves to splash and liked the little waves.

She wasn't too happy to sit on Mara's lap on the tube.

Karri brought some gummy worms for a treat and the kids were loving them.

We got there a little earlier than Lisa so we were just hung out and
played around. Karri and Jaina love sitting behind the waterfall.

Hanging in the lazy river.

These boys went off and hung out without the rest of us, so we barely saw them.

Melody liked watching the kids come out of the slide and get splashed.

These girls are so silly and love being together.

Karri also had Jaina's all time favorite treat: Swedish Fish

It was a fun day spent at the pool with family that we love.
