Ramey Halloween Party 2015

Oct 26th
We had our annual Ramey Halloween Party at Mana's house.
The kids were so excited and look forward to the party every year.

We started the night with a group picture. Lisa's brother Jess came to the party too.

Then the mandatory silly picture.

Max: Slenderman, Lisa: Wonder Woman, Finley: Rapunzel, Sawyer: Baby,
Conli: Nerd and Brent found his costume for the rest of his life: Ghost!

Xander decided to keep it easy and dress as Xander Harris from
Buffy the Vampire Slayer. We even sprayed his hair black!

Mara opted for a cat this year. First time she hasn't been something Disney or a Princess.

Jaina found her costume over a month ago and was so excited
to dress as Cinderella, from the new live action movie.

I had thought about having Melody wear the Minnie Mouse costume
this year, but realized that she is the perfect age to be Boo from Monsters Inc.

Since Melody was Boo, we decided to be her monsters. I was able to find some shirts,
then bought flannel and ironed everything on the shirts. They turned out great!!!

A family picture.

Mana was the Ghost Host from the Haunted Mansion

Karri was the Dutch girl from It's a Small World

JD & Chris were Carl & Russell from UP!

By the time we got to the grandkid picture, Melody was done!

This year Mana pulled out the fog machine and we had a bit of a dance party in the driveway.

It was a rare moment that Melody let Brent hold her, so I had
to take a picture of it. She was not in the mood for pictures

These 2 girls are peas in a pod whenever they're together.

The craft for the night was jars with battery tea lights, wrapped
in bandage tape with googly eyes, to look like mummies

We had a usual tell stories in the dark and try to freak out the kids. As they get older it's a
little harder to scare them. Sawyer and Finley were the most nervous. Jaina was fearless.
Xander and Max were involved with Pat & JD with trying to scare. It started out well, but
the gag went way too long and wasn't scary anymore. So hopefully next year will be better.
