Melody was such a good baby the whole trip and was always happy.
We got her a stuffed Sulley and she loved him!
Day 5 was another split day. Pat took Xander and Max to LegoLand
while the rest of us hit up California Adventure.
We had bought princess shirts to match, and I made skirts for all the girls to go with them.
Here's me and Mara at the fountain in Carthay Circle, waiting
for the rope to drop so we could enter the park.
Mana took Jaina and Finley on Little Mermaid.
We headed over to the pier and caught a picture with Jessie!!!
Then went on King Triton's Carousel. I loved the rides that
I could take Melody on. She loved the carousels.
Next up was Toy Story Midway Mania!!!
We got our family picture on the Pier (with our ice cream because it was so so hot),
minus Pat, Xander and Max.
Then we headed over to Radiator Springs Racers.
JD is the king of the fast passes. He really helped us maximize our trip using these!
Then we used the fastpasses/parent pass and these guys went again!
Next it was Mater's Junkyard Jamboree.
Once again, Melody was such a good baby and even learned how to hold her own bottle!!
Mana took these two on Flik's Flyers
Then they headed to the Tower of Terror with Karri!
We were able to meet Sophia the First too.
We then headed into Downtown Disney for lunch, and to the Lego Store before heading back to the hotel.
We also stopped off at D-Street and got a pic with the giant Mickey Vinylmation!
I just love that Melody would entertain herself by playing with her feet!
I also loved the giant Sorcerer hat by the hotel.
We then headed to the pool and waited for the boys to return.
All Melody wanted to do in the pool was cuddle and I loved it.
Here is the boys adventure!!
They stopped off at a beach on the way to LegoLand.
LegoLand had the set from The Lego Movie on display and the boys loved it!!
Lego Chewbacca!
Boba Fett and Yoda.
Pat loved all the Star Wars displays, especially Hoth.
A replica of New York City!
And Las Vegas!
Can't forget the Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger
After swimming for a bit, we headed back into the park.
Karri and Xander headed over to Screamin' for a ride in the dark!!
We had fast passes for World of Color, but Pat was tired and didn't want to stand around that
long, so he took Melody back to the hotel and the four of us stayed for the show.
The kids really liked it but it's so hard to see. They really need to get benches
or something to make the viewing easier.
