We started off the last day as we did every other day, hanging in the lobby until everyone was ready to go.
Xander was usually hanging out with Max and I didn't get a chance to ride much of anything
next to him, so I made sure to at least get a selfie with him at the start of the day.
When we headed into the park we found Pluto!!!
Melody wasn't too sure about him.
And we found Goofy!!
Next we headed over to Tomorrowland and hopped on the Astro Orbitor!
I have to say, this is one of my favorite pictures that I took and I was very lucky that it turned out this great. They were in the rocket behind me and I just snapped the picture without being able to see what I was taking. I just love this one!
Next we headed over to Star Tours: The Adventure Continues to go on another ride through space!
And another ride of Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, and another pic with my boy.
We had fast passes for Space Mountain and it was all decked out for Halloween with the Ghost Galaxy theme. Mara had been nervous about roller coasters all week, so we didn't tell her that it was a coaster. But she LOVED it!!! And Lisa was great and hung with Melody, because she doesn't coaster.
The line was fairly short so Karri and JD took the kids for another ride, but by the time
they got up to the front they had to close it down for a bit because someone had thrown
up and they had to clean the car. They were pretty disappointed.
Meanwhile, I was able to meet up with one of my best friends from high school, Courtney Rotz. She lives close to Disneyland and was able to come in and see me for a little bit. She has 3 kids and was pregnant with baby #4, due a few weeks after we met up. The park was so crowded and we were still doing family stuff, so we didn't get to hang out very long. But it was still good to see her.
Then we headed over to Indiana Jones Adventure
Lisa caught this sweet moment of me and Xander. I love it so much!
While we were on Indy, Pat ran over with Melody and got a Dole Whip. It was the first time I had ever had one. I like pineapple but this was a little much for me, so I will not need to get one ever again.
Because of staying at the Disneyland Hotel we got special Fast Passes that we could use on almost any ride in the park so we saved it for the Haunted Mansion. It had been closed all week because they were getting ready for Halloween, but Friday was the first day of their Halloween season, so we knew it was going to be crazy busy, so we Fast Passed it!
In order to make sure we had all the kids we had them line up like a train!
I knew that she was tall enough for the rides, but I wanted to get a picture of her with the height sign.
So we got one with Splash Mountain!
Jaina just loved it and got soaked!!!!!
Pat even rung out her socks because she had puddles in her shoes.
Next up was The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh!
After Pooh, we gathered all the girls and headed over to Fantasyland
for our Fast Pass time to meet Anna & Elsa!!!!!
These girls we so excited to meet the newest princesses! They all have Frozen Fever!
Afterwards it was time for some Tolman time!
It was so fun to be able to ride with just my kids.
Melody looks so cute as an Ewok
On our way out of the park we saw Mickey!!!!!
The park was having it's Dapper Day where people come dressed in 50's and 60's themed clothing. Karri and I saw this woman with a Main Street Electrical Parade skirt that she made herself!! It was amazing!!!!!!!
We went to the hotel and got ready to go to dinner.
These girls loved this Minnie statue at the hotel.
We had dinner at Red Robin for Max's 12th birthday, which was the next
day, but we would be driving home all day, so we celebrated early.
After dinner we went back over to California Adventure.
We did our favorite ride: California Screamin'. It may have been one of the few times we
got to ride next to each other the whole trip because we usually had a child between us.
Lisa was so great and loved playing with Melody so we could go on rides.
Mara was great and went on almost every ride, but refused to ride California Screamin'.
After a lot of prodding we finally got the reason why she didn't want to do it. It was
too tall and it went upside down. So she hung with Conli on King Triton's Carousel.
We got to use the last of our fast passes and ride Screamin' one last time.
Every time we've come we've bought Mickey ears for each child's first trip, so this time we
got ears for Melody. I was excited to get a family picture with all of them in their ears.
This crazy group headed over to Tower of Terror for one last ride.
The night was getting late, we had finished our shopping and Pat
took the girls back to the hotel. But Xander and I stayed later.
I wanted to ride Peter Pan's Flight so we used another one of our special
fast passes and the two of us got to enter from the exit and take a flight.
It was a great way to end the trip.
Here's some fun pictures of the Sorcerer hat at the hotel.
