Tuesday night while daddy was at class we got the two little pumpkins off the porch and the kids painted them! I had to strip Mara down because she has ruined some clothing with paint in the past, it's a good thing I did it, she had paint all over her chest!

Wednesday morning Pat got the big ones out and carved them! Xander drew a picture of what he wanted it to look like and Pat carved it for him!
Here's Mara's: she drew the eyes (4 squished together) and I did the nose and mouth, and Pat carved.
The kids didn't like the pumpkin guts, really what kid would. But Mara kept on saying "I don't like the guppies" and pointing to the pumpkins. So we had to keep reminding her that it was called 'guts' and not 'guppies'. What a silly girl!!
