July 2014 Swim Lessons & Children's Parade

I love being able to attend the Temple with my Eternal Companion.
It has helped us become closer to each other and to be better parents.
We have made it a goal to go every month and it's been great!

Mana was watching the kids while we were at the temple and they had too much
fun filling the couch with all the Beanie Babies, and included our baby!

Melody is starting to have some drive and determination. She tried so hard to get this water bottle
and worked at it for a good 5 minutes until she finally got it and was very proud of herself.

Xander and Mara had swim lessons again and were doing great at it.

The last day of class was a pass off/free day and they let the parents
come to the sides of the pool and take pictures.

Xander was doing great with his long swim.

Mara dove off the diving board and was so happy that she did it!

For Spanish Fork's Fiesta Days, they have a children's parade the weekend before the 24th.  This year the theme was 'We love our city' and our ward's primary had a 'float'. We had come up with 'We Love Our Windy City'. Our float looked like a typical yard with tumble weeds, over turned trampolines and garbage cans with trash every where. The kids had pinwheels and were able to ride bikes and scooters.

This was Jaina's first time in the parade and she absolutely loved it and loved her pinwheel.
