These girls just love each other so much. They have a very special bond that
has been present since day one. I hope that it will grow stronger as they get older.
This was one of those rare times when Daddy was in charge of bath time.
She really likes this selfie feature on my phone.
I put my purse on the couch, not thinking, and the next thing I know, she's
pulled out everything. At least it was a reason to go through it and re-organize.
For a few weeks, Melody would hold her binki on the side of her mouth!
It was usually when she wanted to talk.
She really likes to just stuff food in her mouth, which usually means
that she will have a choking moment. But she sure does love her Oreo's.
Mana & Karri watched the girls while we (with Xander) went to a movie.
Melody was busy showing off her mess making skills.
And her new walking skills!!!! She started walking on January 1st.
Just a cute picture of me and Jaina.
She found the baby foam brush and started brushing her own hair!
I love the little things that she's learning.
I can't remember where Jaina was, but Melody got ahold of her
Blanket Brown and Minnie and was dragging them all over the house.
She is really getting good at walking!
It's so fun to play with her hair after bath time.
Mana had ordered a puzzle from Shutterfly of family pictures.
These five had a great time putting it all together.
It's very rare when Melody will let someone else hold her while she has
her bottle. Mana was very happy that Melody cuddled with her.
We're still trying to figure out all this table food stuff for her.
But she seems to really like Fruit Loops.
JD gave us this Doctor Who puzzle and it took us FOREVER to put together. Then we realized that we were missing a piece!!! Often Melody would walk up to the table, put her hand up on it and grab whatever she could. So we had to fix it quite a few times. I searched and searched for at least a week and couldn't find it. We knew that we wanted to mount it to hang on the wall, so we took it into my craft room for the time being.
*About a month or so after we 'finished' the puzzle, Melody was playing in a bucket of toys, found the piece and gave it to me! It was so crazy because I had looked in those toys at least twice before and didn't find it.
She has become quite the thief whenever we are playing video games. She really likes the Wii controllers.
This is Melody's first pony tail!!!!!!
Xander had his Science Fair at school and did his project on the Healthiest Drink. His experiment was that he placed pieces of meat in cups of different sodas and a cup of water for 2-3 days to see what happened to it. Most of them had changes to size, color and smell. Water is by far the best thing that we can drink, and Mountain Dew is the worst of the sodas that he tested.
Melody's first time eating Spaghetti. I just love how babies always turn orange from the sauce.
Jaina has started drawing people. I love her progress!
She even drew this picture of Karri & Mana
Melody is always interested in what Jaina is doing, and also really likes hair brushes.
